Hello friends! Melody here, adrenaline-fueled and a little frazzled as we make the last big push toward Quilt Con. It’s gonna be so good this year! We have spent months planning our booth in the RSS studio, and our designers are going all out this year for our shop! We can’t wait for you to see all of it.
I am leaving next Friday (Galentine’s Day) to meet my sister in Las Vegas and we’re gonna do a fun road trip that ends in Phoenix on the 18th, just in time to meet up with everyone who is flying in for the show. I have about a 36 hour window in Las Vegas before I’m totally overstimulated, so we’ll be taking a day trip on Sunday to the Valley of Fire, one of my favorite places on earth, and then Monday we go to the Grand Canyon, and we finish our trip in Phoenix on Tuesday. I’m excited! I’m open to any Las Vegas suggestions you have for people who don’t naturally thrive in Las Vegas. We have already planned Meow Wolf and a great sushi dinner, but otherwise, we’re open to ideas!
In the meantime, I thought I’d show you a sneak peek of what I’ve been working on for our designer Quilt Con shop! If you’re interested in these items and you won’t be in Phoenix, I will very likely do an online pop up sometime after the show. I’ll announce it in this newsletter, so stay tuned.
I’m really excited to be offering some new wall art this year! These are printed on PVC and are all signed. They totally speak to my love of pop art, and are very satisfying on a shelf or wall. There are lots of different designs, but here’s a peek at two of them:
Last year, my patches sold out pretty quickly, so I’m bringing more this time. I just got them today and they look great!
I’m SO EXCITED to be selling my new Meori Pocket Shopper and Mini Storage Boxes. They turned out soooo cute!
As always, I’ll be bringing art prints and stickers this year. These are some (but not all!) of the ones I’ll be offering:
And last but not least, I’m digging deep into my fabric stash to offer a limited number of color-coordinated FQ and HY bundles.
If you’re gonna be at Quilt Con, I look forward to seeing you! Please stop by the Ruby Star Society booth 401 and say hello. If you aren’t able to attend, we’ll miss you and hope to catch you at another show!
Wishing you a warm and cozy February,
I’m SO excited!! Can’t wait to shop in person 😊
Oooohhh sooo jealous for those going to quilt con. It’s definitely on my list. Hopefully there will be some things available after! I think a quilty trucker hat with one of your patches would be so fun! Can’t wait for all the inspiration to come!
